28 different neighborhoods in the north half of Minneapolis. Franklin's
goal is to increase student achievement in reading, both individually
and aggregately. The school seeks to expand its knowledge and use of

available to students from north, northeast, and southeast parts of the
city. The school has initiated a "School Improvement Plan" goal for
math and intends to increase the percentage of students who are on

Reading and math are the academic areas of focus. The school aims to
